Counselling service
Counselling is delivered in blocks of 12 sessions, reviewed after every block. We are based in Edinburgh and can offer face-to-face sessions at our offices in Castle Street, although we can also arrange online counselling if this is preferred.
The service is delivered by trainee counsellors supported by the required levels of clinical oversight in line with COSCA guidance. Counsellors are in their final stages of training and have experience of counselling in related fields. Your counsellor will have undertaken a robust induction to the work of the agency and their ongoing development is overseen by their supervisor, the Birthlink counselling co-ordinator and the Interim Chief Executive Officer.
